Admission to the course is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University. The total marks for determining the merit are 200. Out of this 100 marks are for entrance test and 100 marks are for the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2.
Eligibility Criteria
A person who has passed 10+2 examination of Punjab or Haryana Board of School Education/C.B.S.E/I.C.S.E or any other board/University recognized as equivalent to it with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible to join the course. The candidate must not be above 20 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought in first semester (22 years in case of SC/ST). Every candidate admitted to the course shall pay such fees and funds or other charges as may be prescribed from time to time.

180. These seats are subject to reservation under Panjab University rules.
