Eligibility	10+2 examination with at least 50% marks from any recognized Board/ University. **
Remarks	**The applicants who have obtained 10+2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate after prosecuting Studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission in the Integrated Five Years Course. However, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law course (As per proviso and explanation to Rule 5 (b) of Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, 2008). Admission to BALLB course shall be on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the Panjab University. The merit will be calculated as under:- 1) Entrance test=50% 2) Academic Marks =50%

Eligibility	The Entrance test for Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) based on PUCET (PG) shall be open to all such candidates who possess the qualifications as mentioned below:- Bachelors/Masters Degree in any discipline with at least 45%* marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Bar Council of India and Panjab University. In case a candidates having Bachelor’s degree of this University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script) and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit or Persian or Arabic), the aggregate of 45% marks shall be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that he had secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together . Online entrance test details are available at http://pglaw.puchd.ac.in/ The final merit for admission shall be computed by the concerned Department/ Centre after taking into account the relative weightage for final merit for admission in respective courses. The relative weightages as applicable to the department/centres are as follows: Admission to LL.B (3 Years course) shall be on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the Panjab University. Eligibility	A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible after qualifying the entrance test to join the first semester class of the LL.M. Course:- (a) LL.B.3 years Degree/B.A.LL.B./B. Com.LL.B. 5 years degree examination of this University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/BC candidates); or (b) Any equivalent examination of another University recognized by the Syndicate for this purpose. Admission to LL.M course shall be on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the Panjab University. The merit will be calculated as under:- 1) Entrance test=80% 2) Academic Marks =20% *Seats: 9 ( 01 for wards of kashmiri displaced persons , 02 for One Girl Child out of the only two girl Children, 01 for Cancer,AIDS & Thalassemia, 02 for Rural Area Student, 01 for Border Area Student, 01 for Youth Festival, 01 for Wards of Martyrs/permanently disabled in Kargil war)
